Blessing of the Animals

Houston Veterinary Hospital was part of the Blessing of the Animals at the Cathedral of Saint Matthew on Saturday, October 1st. Dr. Amanda Fiser, Susana Rodriguez, and Brittany Martucci handed gift bags to celebrate Saint Francis of Assisi, Patron Saint of Animals. HVH donated food, treats, leashes, Frisbees, waste bag dispenser, coupons, and informative brochures. At the end of the event, HVH held a raffle for large dog, small dog, and cat owners. The 3 lucky winners won 1 free exam which included fecal, heartworm and full blood tests; 1-year supply of heartworm and flea preventative, as well as a full set of vaccines. We had a blast spending time with the pet owners and their pets in the local community!
